How does the Jetboil Flash stove work?

The burner unit has rubber-coated edges for easier handling. Operation is simple: attach the burner to the cup and screw on the gas canister. Turn the control switch to ignite the flame with the piezo igniter. The same switch adjusts the flame intensity.

What makes the Jetboil Flash an efficient stove?

The patented, wind-protected FluxRing base transfers heat efficiently and evenly to the cup. Heat transfer capacity is 5,300 BTU (1.5 kW), which boils 0.5 liters of water in 2 minutes. The efficiently insulated cooking pot also doubles as a drinking cup. The neoprene cozy on the exterior makes use safer and conserves gas. The color of the boiling indicator stripes on the cozy changes when the water inside is boiling.

Gas canisters from most common manufacturers fit the standard thread of the Jetboil burner. For best performance, we recommend using high-quality Jetboil Jetpower gas (not included). A 100g Jetpower gas canister can boil up to 10 liters of water. The canister fits inside the stove along with all other components.
