The Unity Tactical FAST Micro Mount positions Aimpoint® Micro footprint optics at a 57 mm (2.26") optical center line from the rail, allowing for a fast and ergonomic heads-up shooting posture. The elevated position is particularly beneficial when operating with night vision devices, gas masks, or plate carriers, as it maintains a natural head position and eliminates the need to search for the reticle from below.
The mount features fully adjustable integrated backup iron sights (BUIS), eliminating the need for separate additional sights and keeping the weapon lightweight and streamlined. The front sight post can be removed if desired, allowing the rear sight aperture to be used in conjunction with a separate front sight, such as the Unity FUSION™, for a longer sight radius.
The body is machined from durable 7075-T6 aluminum and coated with Type III hardcoat anodizing to ensure a long service life. It attaches to the rail with two cross-bolts on a Picatinny rail, and the mount is also compatible with the FAST™ QD Lever quick-release (sold separately).
