The Arisaka Inline Scout Mount M-Lok is specifically designed for the Surefire Scout Light M600 and M300 series of lights, Arisaka 300, 600 and 18650 series lights, Modlite OKW and PLH lights, Olight Odin and Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X (non-laser) lights. This low profile mount replaces the standard Picatinny rail adapter and is especially useful for M-Lok handguards with 45 degree angled mounting surfaces such as the BCM MCMR, Geissele Automatics SMR MK4, MK8 and MK16, Daniel Defense MFR, KAC URX4, ALG Defense EMR, MI Gen 3, Mega MML and Mega/Hodge Wedge Lock.
When mounted on a 45-degree angled mounting surface, the Inline Scout Mount allows the light to be positioned closer or further from the top rail, allowing room for front panels or other accessories. Three different positions allow for 0.12 inches of offset to either side from center. The base of the Surefire Scout Light is just 0.2 inches above the mounting surface.
Installation Tip: To minimize the overall length of the bracket, it is necessary to remove the rear cap of the light to access the front mounting screw.
This bracket is not intended to be used as a cantilever, where it hangs from the end of a handguard.
