What is the CamelBak Crux 3L Reservoir and what is it suitable for?
The CamelBak Crux 3L Reservoir is a low-profile hydration reservoir that is easy to fill, clean, and dry, delivering 20% more water per sip. It provides 2-3+ hours of managed hydration and is an ergonomic hydration solution ideal for training and performance-oriented sports. The reservoir is designed to be placed in a backpack and offer efficient hands-free hydration.
How does removing and attaching the hydration reservoir work?
The reservoir features a QuickLink hose for quick removal and re-insertion into the backpack. The connector has an automatic drip lock, allowing the reservoir to be moved even when full with the hose disconnected. An easy-to-use ON-OFF valve with a drip-free mouthpiece completes the convenience of use.
How are filling and cleaning made easy?
The large, very easy to open and close fill port allows filling even without removing the reservoir from the backpack. Cleaning through the opening is quick. Inside, there is a baffle to dampen sloshing. The reservoir is made of materials that do not impart tastes or odors to the drink.
What does the package include?
The delivery includes the following pre-assembled items:
- Crux reservoir
- PureFlow drink tube with QuickLink quick-release
- ON-OFF valve
- Big Bite Valve mouthpiece
How do you clean the hydration reservoir?
Clean before first use.
- Fill the reservoir halfway with warm water and mild dish soap.
- Mix the soapy water by shaking the reservoir.
- Lift the reservoir so that the drink tube and Big Bite mouthpiece are below the reservoir.
- Squeeze the mouthpiece and let the liquid drain out through the tube and mouthpiece.
- After washing, rinse the reservoir and tube of soap.
- Drain any remaining water from the reservoir. The reservoir is ready for use.
- When storing the hydration reservoir, allow it to dry using the Reservoir Dryer wings around the mouth opening. This prevents moisture from remaining in the reservoir. (Available as an accessory)
