The patented, wind-protected FluxRing base transfers heat efficiently and evenly to the cup. With a heat transfer capacity of 5,300 BTU (1.5 kW), the kettle boils 0.5 l of water in 2 minutes. The insulated cooking pot with handle also serves as a drinking cup. The neoprene insulation sleeve on the outside makes it safer to use and saves gas.

Standard camping gas from most manufacturers fits the standard Jetboil burner thread. For best performance, we recommend using the higher quality and more cost-effective Jetboil Jetpower winter gas (not included). A 100g Jetboil Jetpower gas tank will boil up to 12 litres of water with the Jetboil Zip, and the tank fits inside the stove in addition to all other components.
