LOWA Z-6N GTX C

The LOWA Z-6N GTX C is a versatile tactical boot for demanding missions and marches with heavy loads over varied and difficult terrain. It combines the walking comfort of a lightweight hiking boot with the support and protection of a heavy-duty field boot. The Z-6N GTX C is the certified version of the model, approved as occupational footwear in accordance with the EN ISO 20347:2012 standard.

The upper is made from 2 mm water-repellent nubuck leather and durable Cordura. The raised shaft provides good ankle support and stability, while the GORE-TEX lining keeps feet dry and the climate inside the boot comfortable, even under heavy strain. LOWA’s proprietary lining technology creates a smooth, seamless lining that helps reduce friction and blisters.

LOWA’s patented Monowrap frame construction keeps the boot lightweight while providing firm support for the foot. The different densities of the PU midsole absorb impact and enhance stability, and the boot is made using a double-injection process that bonds the sole and upper into a solid unit. A separate abrasion guard on the inner edge of the sole withstands the friction caused by fast-roping.

The tread pattern and rubber compound of the LOWA Tactical Z Trac outsole are designed to provide grip on varied terrain. The sole insulates against heat and cold, is slip-resistant, and withstands oil, fuel and contact heat. The low-profile, closed metal hooks speed up lacing and do not snag on equipment, and meet the requirements for parachuting boots. The boot is also antistatic.
