LUMONITE COMPASS V7 1250LM

The LUMONITE Compass v.7 (formerly Compass R) is a headlamp and multi-purpose light designed in Finland for professionals and outdoor enthusiasts. Its maximum luminous flux has been measured at 1367 lumens in a light laboratory, with a manufacturer's rated output of 1250 lumens. The first version of the Compass won a headlamp test by the Swedish site Testfakta.se, and this current seventh version is a further development of that test winner.

The wide combination beam illuminates both the immediate surroundings with a rich, diffused light and reaches further, up to 110 meters. The 5000 K color temperature renders colors and shapes naturally and does not strain the eyes even during prolonged use. The functions have been kept simple: three power modes, a maximum output mode, and an ultra-low moonlight mode. There are no unnecessary flashing modes, and switching between power levels is quick.

The lightweight, one-piece aluminum body contains no moving parts, joints, or wires that could break. The light is fully dustproof and waterproof according to IP69, and it has been tested for humidity, shock, temperature variation, and corrosion resistance in accordance with the U.S. Department of Defense MIL-STD-810H standard. The operating temperature range is -30°C to +40°C.

The light detaches from the Releasy headband's quick-release mount in an instant, allowing the same lamp to be used as a handheld flashlight or as a helmet or bike light with accessories. The magnetic tail cap attaches to any metal surface, leaving both hands free for work even without the headband. The headband's top strap is removable and is not needed for activities like jogging.

Charging is performed directly via the magnetic USB-C Touch cable, so the battery does not need to be removed. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours. The included 3500 mAh cold-resistant battery lasts for an entire workday at a suitable power setting. Please note that the Compass only works with the designated Lumonite battery; a standard 18650 battery is not compatible.
