The Oakley SI Ballistic M Frame 3.0 are lightweight ballistic eye protection that meet the MIL-PRF-31013 and ANSI Z87.1 ballistic standards for military use. Two interchangeable lenses are included: clear and Prizm Grey, so the same glasses work in both low-light and bright sunlight.
The frame is made of lightweight O Matter polymer, which is resistant to stress and chemicals. The open frame design does not restrict the field of view. The lenses are made of Plutonite polycarbonate, and High Definition Optics technology and Polaric Ellipsoid lens geometry keep the image undistorted across the entire field of view. The lenses filter UVA and UVB radiation as well as blue light up to 400 nm, and an anti-fog coating keeps visibility clear.
Hydrophilic Unobtainium nose pads keep the glasses securely in place even on sweaty skin. The low-profile frame is compatible with hearing protection and communication headsets, and the temple design is compatible with helmet-mounted night vision devices as well as MICH, ACH, CVC, and PASGT helmets. The lenses can be quickly changed without tools to suit lighting conditions.
The Prizm Grey lens has 17% light transmission and is designed for bright light. The lens also enhances environmental contrast. The glasses and lenses are stored in the included rigid polymer case.
