The Otis lock case brush's conical bronze bristles effectively clean the lock case, neck and shoulder. The brush's steel bristles at the base clean the star chamber of the locking shackles.

The brass shank is cold welded to the core, and the tip is folded rather than cut, for added durability and security. The lock case brush has a standard 8-32 thread.
