The Real Avid Prime 9 is a compact and precisely organized cleaning kit for 9mm, .357, .380, and .38 caliber pistols and handguns, such as Glock and Sig Sauer models. All components have their own dedicated spots in a durable, molded case that locks with a sliding latch. The case opens like a butterfly and lays flat on a table, keeping all tools immediately within reach.
A T-handle attaches to the cleaning rod, and nylon or phosphor bronze brushes, a bore mop, a jag, or a slotted tip are screwed onto the rod as needed. The bronze brush removes carbon from the barrel, the nylon brush is suitable for lighter cleaning, and the mop dries and finishes the inside of the barrel. The kit also includes an ergonomic dual-ended hand brush with nylon bristles on one end and phosphor bronze on the other, as well as a carbon pick for cleaning tight crevices.
The case features a dedicated patch dispenser that is easy to refill. The included highly absorbent cleaning patches are sized to fit the kit's jag and slotted tip. The case is small enough to be easily carried in a backpack or range bag.
