Low-profile active dome hearing protector with SLIM headband, adjustable SFA attenuation, ARC rail compatibility, AUX connector and sound amplification function. The SFA is based on the new Sordin Flexible Attenuation concept, developed with the user in mind and the ever-changing conditions. The extra damping foam and the larger cup volume (with the standard included extension ring) increase passive attenuation: With an attenuation level of SNR 31 dB, this hearing protector safely protects hearing even in extremely noisy environments, and also offers instant interchangeability to thin the cushion ring and reduce attenuation to SNR 26 dB - allowing optimization for different operating environments, or ballistic helmet compatibility needs. Good compatibility also when used with headband-style eye protection.
 
This model is also based on the military SLIM standard and is specifically designed to fit wider head shapes. The extra wide headband provides added stability for larger head shapes. The headband assembly is compatible with the ARC rail to allow for helmet mounting (requires optional helmet mounts).
 
Sordin Hear2 sound profiles, which allow you to easily select the most appropriate mode for the situation from the buttons on the side of the cup: Hunting (hunting mode and general use), Shooting (shooting range mode), Focus (high gain alert mode) and Comms (hearing feature off, but AUX connector still working).
 
Waterproof microphones on both sides provide directional hearing. Hi-Fi class speakers and waterproof electronics inside ensure reliable operation in the most demanding conditions. Thanks to the modern level-limited operation, you can hear conversations, warning signals, the sounds of moving cars and other important or safety-related things clearly and exceptionally naturally, but at the same time you are protected from dangerously loud sounds. It also amplifies weak sounds if desired, which allows you to hear, for example, the sounds of a dog further away than without hearing protection. The sound of the headphones integrated into the domes is limited to a safe level of 82 dB. The model is also suitable for use under a military helmet due to its flat profile. All functions are designed to be used even with gloves on.
 
Five-stage volume control provides ideal use. Automatic power off with advance warning tone after 4 hours if no button is pressed: This function saves batteries for later use. The low battery warning indicates the need for replacement when approx. 40 hours of operating time remain.
Audio input AUX connector allows easy connection of external devices such as hunting radios, walkie-talkies, mobile phones, etc. communication devices. Cable with 3.5 mm connector included.
