What is Sordin Supreme X2 Headband Leather Gel?

Sordin Supreme X2 Headband Leather Gel is a low-profile active hearing protector with a leather headband, AUX connector, and sound amplification function. It is a high-quality, level-dependent model with push-button controls, making it easy to use. It is ideal for hunting, shooting, tactical situations, and demanding professional use. The model features silicone gel ear seals, ensuring comfort even during prolonged use.

What sound profile options does Sordin Hear2 offer?

Sordin Hear2 sound profiles allow you to select the most suitable operating mode for the situation using the buttons on the side of the cup:

Hunter: Hunting and general-purpose mode. Suitable for a wide range of uses, making operation pleasant and efficient.
Shooter: Shooting range mode. In this profile, you can focus on your performance without distractions from surrounding events. This is also the recommended mode when using earplugs with the X2 simultaneously in Dual-Protection mode.
Focus: High amplification and alertness mode. A wider frequency range that allows you to hear even faint sounds clearly. Can be used with earplugs for maximum protection.
Ambient Off: The hearing function is off, but AUX communication is still active. Passive hearing protection. Suitable for situations requiring maximum concentration.

What are the attenuation values and how does Dual-Protection work?

The slim cup design is suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters, as well as eyeglass wearers, and works well with gunstocks. With standard Gel attenuation rings, the attenuation values are: SNR 29 dB, H 31 dB, M 27 dB, L 22 dB, and NRR 23 dB.

In Dual-Protection use, when Sordin SoftEar earplugs are worn underneath (measurements with M/L size earplugs), the attenuation increases to SNR 40 dB and H 38 dB, M 39 dB, and L 37 dB. The level-dependent listening function allows you to safely hear ambient sounds such as warning signals, vehicles, and important announcements, as the maximum output level is limited to 82 dB. Fast recovery time restores normal sound immediately after a shot.

What connection and protection features does the device have?

The 3.5 mm AUX input for external audio sources allows for easy connection of external devices such as hunting radios, walkie-talkies, mobile phones, or other communication devices. Audio feedback indicates active functions and alerts you to a low battery level. Durable electronics are protected from moisture by multiple layers of protective lacquer, and automatic power-off shuts down the device after four hours. Waterproof microphones ensure reliable operation even in demanding conditions.
