It is an insulated and specially treated cloak that can be used as a tent, sleeping bag, poncho, blanket, underquilt, gear cover, and in many other ways. For example, it is often used as a large tarp, utilizing durable loops and grommets as attachment points for paracord. It also works excellently when folded in half and converted into a sleeping bag, as high-quality heavy-duty zippers are sewn into all edges of the cloak.
The cloak is made of several layers of different fabrics that retain body heat. It has a moisture-resistant coating with a special chemical layer that does not reflect in IR illumination. It also has two zippered openings through which hands can be extended for convenient use, similar to hairdressers' capes.
When used as a sleeping bag, laboratory tests provide temperature ratings of +12°C comfort limit / +8°C lower limit / -3°C extreme (tested according to sleeping bag standards). In actual use, the cloak often performs better than these figures, especially when worn with proper clothing or combined with other layers. It is not just a sleeping bag, but also a tarp, poncho, cloak, and cover—a versatile and lightweight solution that is good to have when plans change or the weather turns.

The "Pit-Stop Dress" Lined Thermocloak comes with a durable belt to keep the cloak in place around the waist if needed. Also included is a moisture-resistant oversized bag into which the cloak can be quickly packed in about ten seconds.
The entire set weighs only 1500 grams, and when packed, it is very compact, only 35 x 23 centimeters.
When unfolded, the cloak measures 220 x 206 centimeters. When used as a sleeping bag, with the edges connected by the sewn-in zipper, the length remains unchanged, but the width becomes 103 centimeters.
The "Pit-Stop Dress" Lined Thermocloak also helps reduce the thermal signature caused by body heat. Thus, when used correctly, it can temporarily hide a heat source from thermal cameras. However, please note that in direct contact with a heat source, the cloak will also warm up over time! And this point will differ from the environment, making it visible to thermal cameras. Tests have been carried out with highly sensitive, high-resolution equipment (pixel size (μm) 12, sNETD (mK) <20), and according to the results, the product significantly improves the user's ability to remain undetected both with the naked eye and in the thermal spectrum. However, situational conditions must always be taken into account. Stay safe and be prepared for anything!
