Certified NIR Protection
The trousers' fabric has undergone IR reflectance testing (NIR compliant): The University of Maribor in Slovenia tested the material at wavelengths of 700-1400 nm (near-infrared). The reflection values have been optimized to match Finnish nature, ensuring that the pattern remains effective and fragmented even when viewed with night vision devices.
The M05 pattern colors (light green, dark green, brown, and charcoal gray) reflect infrared light at different levels (approx. 8-54%), which prevents the figure from appearing as a uniform surface. The material complies with M05 RES compatibility, meaning it meets the high quality requirements set for reservist use and professional equipment manufacturing.
The fabric also features a durable water-repellent treatment (DWR), which protects against moisture and dirt without compromising the fabric's breathability or infrared properties.
