Certified NIR Protection

The fabric of the shirt has been IR-reflectivity tested (NIR compliant): the University of Maribor in Slovenia has tested the material at wavelengths of 700-1400 nm (near-infrared). The reflection values have been optimized to match the Finnish natural environment, ensuring that the pattern remains effective and broken even when viewed with night vision devices.

The colors of the M05 pattern (light green, dark green, brown, and charcoal gray) reflect infrared light at different levels (approx. 8-54%), which prevents the figure from appearing as a uniform surface. The material complies with M05 RES compatibility, meaning the high-quality requirements set for reservist use and professional equipment manufacturing.

The fabric also has a durable water repellent (DWR) treatment that protects against moisture and dirt without compromising the fabric's breathability or infrared properties.
